I’d fix the missing product rating on mobile first.

Your latest audit shows a 4.8 rating beside the product title on desktop, but it disappears below 768 px. That removes an important trust signal for mobile shoppers.

To fix it:

1.Open the product page template in Shopify’s theme editor.

2.Find the product rating or reviews block.

3.Make sure the compact star rating stays visible on mobile, ideally above the price.

After publishing, run another audit to confirm the rating is visible on the live store.

From understanding the issue to checking the fix

Ask about the part you are working on. Each answer draws on your store’s findings, evidence and audit history.

What are the quickest things I can fix?

Start with these changes:

  • Show the product rating on mobile to help shoppers judge the product.
  • Simplify the cart header to reduce distractions near checkout.
  • Link to returns information beside the buy button.

Find a place to start

Ask what to fix first and get a ranked shortlist you can start on today.

  • The summary opens with your score, the category health and the main blockers.
  • Quick wins arrive ranked, so you can weigh the effort against the impact.
  • Narrow the list to one page or one priority when you want a shorter answer.

  2. 2.Find the rating block and check its mobile visibility.
  3. 3.Keep it beside the product title, then preview on a phone.

Work through one fix

Get from a finding to a finished change without leaving the conversation.

  • Each finding comes with what we found, why it matters and the page it sits on.
  • Fix steps are written for your platform, with the evidence from your page beside them.
  • Ask about any step you are unsure of, in plain words.

What changed since my last audit?

EcomhintCompare the last two audits

The new audit confirms the rating fix. Two issues still need attention:

  • Product rating: now visible on mobile.
  • Cart header: distracting navigation is still present.
  • Returns information: still missing near the buy button.

Check what your fixes changed

After your next full audit, ask what changed: which issues passed, which remain and whether anything new appeared.

  • Compare the new audit against the previous one in a single question.
  • A task you marked done turns Verified once its check passes.

Your outlet store needs the most attention:

  • Outlet store: 58, with 4 High issues. Shipping costs appear only at checkout.
  • EU store: 71, with 2 High issues. The product rating is hidden on mobile.
  • Main store: 83, no High issues left.

Know which store needs you first

Ask which store needs work first and get each one’s score and issue counts in one answer.

  • Name a store to audit it. Your dashboard stays on the store you were working on.
  • Every answer names the store it is about, so results from two shops stay apart.

Example conversations. Findings and recommendations depend on your store.

What's still on my list?

The mobile cart header is still open. Your other two tasks are marked Done and waiting for an audit to verify them.

That one is live now, mark it done.

Marked Done. The next audit will check whether the issue is fixed.

Know which fixes actually worked

Ask what is still open, add a task or mark a change done when it is live. Your task list stays up to date in Ecomhint as you work through it in chat.

Done means you have made the change. A later full audit marks the task Verified if its check passes, or returns it to To do if the issue remains.

  1. Step 1. Connect

    Sign in and approve access

Follow the setup guide for your client, then sign in to the account with your active Ecomhint subscription.

  2. Step 2. Confirm

    Confirm your store

We use the store you are working on unless you name another. No store yet? Give the chat its URL and confirm it.

  3. Step 3. Ask

    Open your audit

Ask about the latest results, or start your first full audit if you do not have one yet.

You control the access

An MCP client receives only the Ecomhint permissions you approve. It cannot access your store admin, orders, customers or payments.

  • One sign-in for your whole account
  • Access limited to the stores on your account
  • Revoke a single client from Ecomhint
  • No changes to the live storefront

Questions before you connect?

Read the setup guide for technical details.

Still unsure? Ask us anything.

Is MCP included in my subscription?

Yes, at no extra cost. Audits you start from a chat spend the same audit credits as the web, and a subscription includes 10 a month for any store.

Do I have to set the store up in the dashboard first?

No. Tell the client which store to audit, it reads the address back to you and it saves the store once you agree. You can name a different store at any time. A basic auth login or a Shopify storefront password is the one thing you still enter in Store Settings.

Can I use it with more than one store?

Yes. Name a store in the chat to audit it or read its results, and your dashboard stays on the store you were working on. One audit runs at a time per account.

Can an MCP client change my live store?

No. An audit reads the public storefront the way a visitor does. Everything a client writes lands inside your Ecomhint account: the store address, which pages the audit checks and your task list. It gets no store admin, customer, order or payment access.

Can I disconnect MCP later?

Yes. Revoke a single client from the MCP page in your Ecomhint dashboard, or remove Ecomhint in the client settings. It loses access at once, and your reports, tasks and subscription stay as they are.
